Site Interrupted
National College of Arts (Lahore) - Triennale 2025In recent decades, institutions have fortified themselves against an unpredictable world. Metal grills gave way to walls, sheets, barbed wire, and CCTV, gradually reshaping the façade.Once seen as intrusive, these security features have become part of the architectural language. Site Interrupted, a site-specific installation for the NCA Triennale, paints the façade with bold yellow and black lines, tracing how these protective structures have quietly embedded themselves into the institution’s identity.
